Bindas News : Spider-Man actress injured during performance


A main actress in the movie ‘Spider-Man’, the most expensive Broadway show e’er produced, endured an injury on its first performance and w’ll be substitute for short period of time, a producer told on Friday, combining the show’s troubles in its previews.

Producer Michael Cohl said that Natalie Mendoza endured an injury... and on the doctor’s instruction, she will be out of the show for short time.

The New York Times reported on website that Natalie Mendoza, who portrays Arachne, endured a concussion on Sunday when she was hitted through a rope when she is offstage. She was allowed to perform on Wednesday, but now left again.

The $65milion movie “Spider- Man: Turn Off the Dark”, with music produced by the Edge and U2’s Bono, was blocked at least five times through its preview performance on Sunday, including as actors were suspended through wires over the crowd.

The production has had its opening late various times after running out of technical and experiencing financing problems. It doesn’t officially open till January 11, and while preview usually are a time for shoes to determine problem, most don’t experience as many bugs as the movie “Spider-Man”.
