Aamir said 'no' to the political use of the song on inflation.

Bollywood star Aamir Khan said that he would not allow political parties to use the song 'Mahangai Dayan' from his upcoming film 'Peepli Live' which takes a dig at the Government over price rise.

On the music launch of this film, Amir told the reporter “We will not contribute the song for any political use. This song is part of the story. It will not be used in any form of political cause.”

The fellow members of some left parties had approached the film producer to buy the rights of the song for use against the government, given the recent sharp rise in prices of essential commodities.

Aamir said,” We made this film for audience. This song is a part of the story. The film is about rural and urban divide that lives in India and inflation is a common issue.”

'Peepli Live' is a satire on political response and farmers' suicides and subsequent media.

Directed by Rizwi Anusha and featuring Yadav Raghuveer in an essential role, the movie is planned to be released on 13August.
